CONFESSION. I'VE NEVER seen Mamma Mia.
Sure, I've seen the musical, but non the original movie. With all the hype around the sequel, Here We Go Again, I just had to give in to my hatred for actors miming their own auto-tuned recordings.
Irish people have gone crazy for it, with the official soundtrack reaching number 1 in the charts.
It's only right that I go far on it.
Without having seen the original on screen, I was shocked to hear that my beloved Pierce Brosnan can't sing.
Pierce plays builder Sam, one of Sophie's possible fathers, a office that you would never really accept a former Bail gear up bated for.
He told The Irish Lord's day that his Irishness was a gene in taking the role:
I'm by no means a great singer, simply I similar to sing. It's the Irish in me that loves to sing and dance and twirl.
You can't contend with that.
While I laughed at Cher's rendition of Fernando, and cringed at Dominic Cooper ruining I Of Us, I didn't think Pierce's melancholy SOS was THAT bad.

Pierce responded to the backfire after the get-go movie, and his SOS duet with Meryl Streep. Basically, he doesn't requite a shite. He was positively dying to become stuck back in.
Am I excited? Yes, I'k excited. I don't know if the people will exist excited, but one way or the other I shall sing again, whether they like it or not. I don't care what they say! I love my voice! I think that it will grow on people. They will always just want to hear a little singing from me.
This is BDE.
